This section of the Guiding Module is designed to be a self-learning process, where the student undertakes the research, compiles the information into a file workbook, and then prepares to guide notes for itineraries in a presentation. Marks awarded for both the workbook prepared, and for the guiding notes which form part of the workbook, will account for 40 % of the total final marks awarded for this module at the end of the year. Students will be required to achieve a passing grade in both components of assessment, i.e. Continuous Assessment and the Local Area Heritage Audit project.
