According to Bogdanowicz, Stewart, Broadbent, Hatch, Hotopf, Strang & Hayes (2015) there is longstanding evidence that Substance use disorders are strongly associated with other psychiatric disorders in both clinical (Brooner et al., 1997; Weaver et al., 2003) and population samples (Rodriguez-Llera et al., 2006).
